Overall, I like it. Brings back the Tajik kebabs of my childhood. Doesn't use a lot of charcoal, cooks well, doesn't create a mess. The aluminum insert makes cleanup easy. Very economical with charcoal. Would buy again.Caveats:- the nice clean look of brushed aluminum will not survive the first encounter with lamb. Either you spend an hour scrubbing, or you give up on nice clean look of brushed aluminum.- the food you want to cook better be less than 4" wide.- no Kingsford briquettes: use natural charcoal.- warps a bit when hot.- no grate: provide your own.- no cover either. That, they could provide.I ordered a couple of sheets of stainless steel. One will become a cover, the other one will cover the cooking surface. All in all, I'm happy with it, but YMMV. Not for everyone.
