Incredible yakitori grill

First thing you will notice is how well built it is. Very sturdy, strong welds, and thick metal. I am in the smoked meat business and I know good quality metalwork when I see it. The ease of cleaning is really something to be admired. So much so that I use it for steaks and non-yakitori items. Just smaller than the big grill and convenient. I look forward to many more cooks on it!

Great Yakitori grill!!

This grill is absolutely phenomenal! Very well built and sturdy. It’s a bit on the heavy side, and when you include the chimney to start your charcoal, it can take a couple trips to get everything together. The metal guide bars are a must if you do yakitori since you can adjust the width to not burn your wooden skewers. My only knock is the skewers need to be well balanced otherwise they will roll, making cooking an even yakitori skewer difficult - and the paddles can get hot and burn the fingers if you use the paddle ends to balance. This is mostly due to my rookie yakitori status and not the grill. This grill will last a lifetime, and albeit cleaning can be a bit difficult, legit yakidai’s aren’t meant to be pristine (think cast iron pan)

Want to make authentic yakitori, this is the grill you're looking for

If you're interested in yakitori or yakiniku, this is the product for you. I've been struggling with trying to make authentic yakitori over my regular grill using bricks, and it just doesn't concentrate the heat right. The company that built it also builds safes and you can tell. This thing is solid, doesn't get absurdly hot on the bottom of the sides. if you're looking to make yakitori this is the grill you're looking for.

Has all the features to cook delicious charcoal Yakitori at home (or for professional use)

I have cooked Yakitori professionally for the last 3 years and have experience on variety of grills (electric, gas, charcoal) including custom built industrial ones in Japan. I have been using the 24 inch Binchogrill for the last 3 months in my backyard and even driving to different friends balconies and have enjoyed it so far. It’s definitely plenty of cooking area for a Yakitori dinner for 4-8 people where I can cook about 12-16 skewers at a time. Even fully loaded with hot Binchotan charcoal, the handles are cool to touch for moving around and hasn’t affected any wood, metal, or glass surfaces I put the grill on. If cooking on a plastic table just put a wooden board under. It is not insulated with ceramic like some of the ones I've used previously, but Binchotan runs so hot, it has not really affected my cooking. One advanced feature I like is the sliding air vents on the bottom. I can close it when cooking fatty things like skin to prevent flareups and open it wide if I want the charcoal hot to sear steak. The removable insert makes it easy to clean out the ashes when done. I have been using this with the Yakitori rods and the metal grates allowing me to cook not just Yakitori but non skewered meats, seafood, veggies etc. It’s not the cheapest grill option in the market but you can see the cost and value in the quality of workmanship and details in the design.
