I purchased a 36-inch grill, and I am thoroughly impressed by its exceptional build quality. The heavy-duty stainless steel construction is incredibly solid and appears to be built to last a lifetime. The attention to detail and craftsmanship in every aspect— including the vents, handle, fit, and finish—are meticulously executed. I must say, the overall quality is top-notch. Additionally, the customer service is outstanding; I used the chat service, and it was extremely helpful.
My husband stocks up on these. He is our grill master and particular about his binchotan. While these are not from Japan, they are very close replica made in Thailand and give off the perfect yakitori or yakiniku taste.
I bought this bincho grill based on a friend’s recommendation after being disappointed with one I got from another vendor. I have to say, this is by far the best grill I’ve used! The yakitori came out perfectly, and cleanup was a breeze afterward. I’m absolutely loving it and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Much better value than some of the other Bincho coals out there. Burns hot and long and you can always extinguish, dry and re-use the coals for next time. Will definitely again.
It takes a while to light but last a long time. It was well worth it.
Everyone be quiet.I have searched long a far for a charcoal that burns this hot without leaving residue on my food.This is the holy grail of charcoal.It even sounds like pottery when you tap it against something hard.

I've use this a couple of times now and really enjoy using the grill. I prep the skewers and have everything ready to go. Watching a few Videos, I identified and ordered all the accessories that make you look like a Pro. The grilling bars, spray bottles, fans, container for the tare, sticks/skewers, bincho charcoal etc.I grill outside in the patio and have my friends sitting around. We can socialize as I grill and they eat. It's much like going out to a Korean BBQ. It's so much fun.The grill is well made and I will either use the included grate or the optional bars that I ordered separately from the Bincho Grill Store. The grill is easy clean and should last a lifetime.

Used the the wood for my bincho grill. It was long lasting and it burned very hot,
I'd been using the thaan charcoal for a while now which is inexpensive and works ok. However the bricks are not reusable and I hated wasting the product. These are definitely an investment, but you're going to get a consistent burn, and the pieces can be used over and over again until they are truly spent. I think in the long run you can end up saving money using these as opposed to single use thaan style charcoal.
I love Yakitori and this has got to be the best bincho grill. The size I got was the 24” which is suitable to entertain 12 people. I’m looking at getting the smaller one for home use for two people.
i love the size of the grill. it's perfect for grilling for small groups of people. it looks nice and is VERY sturdy. functionally, there are no complaints. it is however, a total pain to clean. that little area under the charcoal liner that's accessible only on one side? i don't feel like i'll ever get that space clean again. oh well. outta sight, outta mind.
Large, long pieces perfect for a yakitori grill. I use a chimney with a little regular lump charcoal to get it started. Easy to extinguish by smothering in a covered bucket and can be reused multiple times.

There isn't really anything particularly wrong with the grill. It works as expected - it grills things! It is also easy to clean. However, for the price, it is really disappointing that you need to also buy a separate chimney for starting the charcoal. It's over $300, but doesn't come with everything you need to get started. I think that if it was a lower price, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you're paying so much, I don't think you should have to buy more in order to use it. There are a lot of similar items out there for much lower prices.
Got this ogtan charcoal to mix in with the premium binchotan that I bought from the bincho grill. great alternative to save and use less of the more expensive binchotan.
I purchased binchotan charcoal to use with my 24” Bincho Grill that I got as a Christmas gift.I am beyond impressed. The binchotan charcoal, known for its high-quality and long-lasting burn, proved to be the perfect charcoal for my grill.Will get the larger box next time.
This charcoal was amazing. First, when you hit two pieces together it sounds like metal. It is very solid carbon dense. You only need a little for your Yakitori grill. It will go a long way. There was no popping when i started it. Ash was very very low. Low smoke came off the charcoal. Most if not all the smoke was from the fats dripping of the meats I was cooking. When I cooked fish there was no smoke at all. All my meats cooked by the radiant heat this charcoal was giving off. The flavor is outstanding. It is a must try. The box is 22lbs of charcoal. I weighed mine without the box just charcoal and it was just over 22lbs. They did not skimp on the charcoal. My small yakitori grill took less than a half a pound to cook for 2 hours.
Wish I’d bought the 24” but everything else is WELL above expectations.
I was looking for a traditional yakitori grill to use this summer! It’s perfect! Purchased some Thaan regular and bamboo charcoal. Makes everything we grill taste delicious! Love that this grill also has vents to open or close to control the heat. Easy grill grate to clean up. Since it’s double walled/insulated you won’t burn yourself on the sides. It’s very well made and sturdy! Pay the extra money to get something that will last! Have used it 4 times and am totally addicted!
This thing is incredible. So well built, keeps the heat in like you wouldn’t imagine and easy to clean. Gives such a great flavor to meats, chicken, seafood, veggies you name it. Add some wood chips to the bitochan charcoal to take the flavor up a notch
